R/C - Motor Models
Radio Control Models are of course the most well known branch of model flight.
We are continously training beginners for their R/C license and we also teach them how to
build their models properly.
Scale models and AirCombat is part of our more advanced R/C activities. |

R/C - Soaring
R/C-soaring is also a popular activity. Uppsala has really good thermal conditions and
staying in the air for quite a long while is not a problem when the weather is fine. |

Line Control
We are flying a lot of line-control models and we have some really good Stunt-Pilots as
well.
Line-control models are also very suitable for beginners since they are cheap, easy to
build and fly and can normally survive a crash to. |

Free Flight
The traditional and original branch of modelflight has moved on to the space-age. Our free
flight pilots are building and flying the most advanced carbon fibre computerized WC-class
models.
We are also frequently participating in National Competitions, World Cup Events and
International Championships.

Our Airfield
Is called Sundbro and is located very near the city of Uppsala.
We are sharing it with the rest of the full scale flying activities within the UFK. We
have a fine-cut grass R/C-model airfield and a circle for L/C-models. For Freeflight, the
whole airfield can be used.
If you are travelling to Uppsala and want to do some model flying with us, please contact
one our members first, so that we can help you with guiding and arrangements. The airfield
may not be used by non-members unless you have contacted us first. |

This is where we meet, chat and build our models. Here we have classes for our beginners
and here we come up with the Champion-ship winning design tricks.
